How it works is whatever the selected Pokemon is for the spotlight that week will spawn up a lot around when out in the wild, between the local time of 6 pm to 7 pm. This means that, on Tuesday, if a Pokemon GO trainer is on during the given times, they will have a greater chance of getting the Pokemon for that spotlight event. Here are all the Pokemon featured in the June spotlight hour.

Does Sunkern Have A Shiny?

Sunkern does, in fact, have a Shiny variant; however, this one is a bit harder to recognize while in the wild. The original has a pillow and brown body with a green leaf on its head, while the shiny one looks orangey-gold with a white-ish leaf on its head. They look very similar, so this will be a little bit harder for the players to see right away, but they will know by the symbol close to its name.

Does Doduo Have A Shiny?

Doduo also has a Shiny in Pokemon GO, unlike the Sunkern, and it is a very noticeable Shiny. The original Pokemon has a brown fur coat like the Shiny variant features a green-looking coat. Even if players won’t see what the Pokemon looks like until they have clicked on it, it won’t be hard to detach which one is the rarer one out of these two.

Every month the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hours change, bringing different Pokemon to the front lines to get some attention.

Pokemon GO is available for free on mobile devices.
