Although Binacle might not be tempting, one can collect enough candies to evolve it. Binacle can evolve into a powerful Barbaracle and fit as a nice addition to anyone’s Pokedex. Barbaracle has access to some excellent moves, and its maximum CP can reach up to 3025 in Pokemon GO. That said, many players are searching if Shiny Binacle is available to catch.

Binacle is a dual Rock and Water-type Pocket Monster with a maximum CP of 1069. Originating from the Kalos region (Gen 6), the dual-type monster is returning as a Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour feature.

The Binacle Spotlight Hour starts Tuesday, June 13, at 6 PM and runs for an hour until Tuesday, June 13, at 7 PM Local Time. Binacle will spawn abundantly during the hour, and participants are eligible for a special bonus of 2× Catch Candy.

Pokemon GO: Can Binacle Be Shiny?

Shiny Binacle in Pokemon GO

For Pokemon GO Shiny hunters, the Shiny variant of Binacle is available to catch. One can only encounter a Shiny Binacle once they catch up to its Shiny spawn rate. The greater the number of Binacle encounters players have, the faster they can encounter its shiny variant.

There are numerous ways of increasing a Pocket Monster’s spawn rate. One can use different Pokemon GO items and the weather boost function to achieve it. Incense and Lure Modules can boost Pokemon spawn rate around a specific area, and players can purchase them through PokeCoins in the in-game store.

Since Binacle’s spawn rate is boosted in Partly Cloudy and Rain weather, players can explore such locations during the Binacle Spotlight Hour. Use a Pokemon GO Incense and then attach a Lure Module to Gyms with Partly Cloudy and Rain weather conditions. Keep moving around the gyms to stack their effects and further boost the spawn rate of Binacle. This strategy will fortify the chances of encountering a Shiny Binacle during the Spotlight Hour.

Pokemon GO is available for Android and iOS devices.
