Using Scarlet and Violet's Terastallization in Pokemon Masters EX.

Pokemon Masters EX gets better with each new Pokemon game release. It can use past ideas like Mega Evolution to make its version of Terastal more interesting.

The Pokemon games have special fighting features to make them stand out. Some games introduced abilities and natures that change as the game progresses. Other games, like Pokemon X and Y, have Mega Evolution which is only available in certain regions. Pokemon Masters EX is a mobile game that celebrates the franchise’s characters and has these special features too. However, it doesn’t have the Terastallization feature yet. Overall, these special features make each trainer’s team unique.

In August 2019, “Pokemon Masters” was released. Since then, two new Pokemon Generations have been introduced. The first one was Gen 8 with “Pokemon Sword” and “Shield” in November 2019, and the second one was Gen 9 with “Pokemon Scarlet and Violet” in November 2022. “Pokemon Masters” has a unique mechanic called Dynamax phenomenon that is specific to a few characters in the game. It might take some time before characters from “Scarlet and Violet” appear in the game, and when they do, “Pokemon Masters” will need a new way to show Paldea’s Terastal phenomenon.

This article is about how Pokemon Masters deals with Megas, Z-Moves, and Dynamaxing.

Pokemon Masters EX is a new mobile game that’s not like the old ones. It has battles between three players in real-time instead of taking turns. Each player has a different type of Pokemon that helps them in battles, like a Fire-type attacker or a Pokemon that can make it rain, making it harder for the opponents to hit them. The goal is to make as many moves as possible to make the “Sync Move” happen faster.

Each Pokemon Trainer and their Pokemon in the game Pokemon Masters EX have a special move called a Sync Move. When a trainer and their Pokemon unit use the Sync Move, it is unique to them. The game used this to show off two special abilities from a previous game called Generation 7 – Mega Evolution and Z-Moves. For example, when Karen, a trainer from Generation 2, uses Houndoom in a Sync Move, Houndoom Mega Evolves and becomes stronger. Some Mega Pokemon also get new moves. Z-Moves are not as effective and mainly change the special effects of the Sync Move. They are often used for Alolan characters like Olivia and Lycanroc.

DeNA added Galar trainers to Pokemon Masters in November 2020, starting with Gloria and Zacian. In August 2021, they introduced Dynamax Pokemon, such as Leon and Eternatus, which allow players to choose one powerful move per monster per game. Giovani’s Nidoking is one example of a notable Dynamax Pokemon. The new mechanics are not limited to Galar trainers and have effects similar to those found in mainline Pokemon games. These new features are part of an ongoing Villain Arc storyline in Pokemon Masters.

How to improve Terastal in Pokemon Masters EX?

The game Pokemon Masters EX has added new options for Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon, which have their own unique Max Moves. This is smarter than having only one Sync Move animation for Dynamaxing. However, Terastallization is a simple feature that lets any Pokemon turn into a specific type and get extra power for moves of that same type. Since each Pokemon has one Tera Type, it makes sense for Pokemon Masters EX to use Sync Move Terastallization, which is like Mega Evolution.

Players of Pokemon Masters EX can now customize their trainer to have different hair colors, cap colors, and styles through a recent game update. In the past, the options were limited to a few hair colors and styles. The latest update expands upon that by including the customization of headwear. Pokemon Masters EX has a successful player base and has recently launched the Training Lodge, allowing players to improve their relationships with in-game characters. This extra Christmas present will provide players with more ways to personalize their gaming experience.
